I had recently been denied a rental due to explicit religious discrimination. i asked Mr. Amin to step in as a colleague. He contacted the owner for me and pointed out to her where the “mistake” had been made and got the owner to apparently change her mind on the decision. The rental ultimately fell through because the owner turned out to be a straight up crazy person acting in bad faith and it was better that my family and I were not forced to deal with that. In any other situation, I imagine the owner would have just ignored us altogether. Thank you for standing in my comer Parag!
