Position Overview:
The Law Offices of Parag L. Amin, P.C. is seeking a Litigation Calendar Clerk to take ownership of the firm’s legal calendaring and deadline management. This role is critical to keeping matters on track and ensuring the firm stays ahead of court dates, filing deadlines, discovery deadlines, and internal follow-ups.
We are looking for someone with prior California law firm calendaring or docketing experience whose primary responsibility has been managing legal deadlines with accuracy, urgency, and consistency.
This is a full-time remote position open to qualified applicants worldwide. Candidates must be able to work during Pacific Time business hours and maintain a reliable computer, dedicated workspace, and high-speed internet connection.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the firm’s litigation calendar across active matters
- Calendar court appearances, hearings, trials, CMCs, status conferences, mediations, filing deadlines, response deadlines, discovery deadlines, expert deadlines, and internal reminders
- Calculate rules-based deadlines based on filing dates, service dates, notice dates, and court orders
- Review incoming legal documents and identify triggering events and deadline implications
- Enter and update deadlines in the firm calendar, case management system, and ClickUp
- Create and maintain tasks tied to deadlines with accurate due dates, notes, and matter assignments
- Communicate urgent deadlines, scheduling conflicts, missing information, and unclear court orders to attorneys and staff
- Help maintain a strong quality-control process so deadlines are tracked accurately and proactively
- Other duties as assigned or needed.
Required Qualifications:
- 1.5+ years of experience in a California law firm where legal calendaring or docketing was a primary responsibility
- Strong experience tracking court dates and rules-based deadlines
- Familiarity with California civil litigation deadlines and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills in a deadline-driven environment
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay rate of $10-$12 USD per hour, equivalent to approximately $1,600 - $1,920 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
