Position Overview:

This is a fully remote, phone-based inbound sales position for someone who can quickly build trust, ask effective questions, follow up consistently, and help qualified prospects take the next step in hiring the firm. You will speak with people who have contacted our law firm for legal assistance, gather and document information, qualify potential matters, explain our paid consultation process, schedule consultations, and follow up with prospective clients throughout the hiring process. This is not a traditional receptionist or administrative intake position. Success is measured by responsiveness, lead follow-up, paid consultations scheduled, CRM accuracy, prospect experience, and conversion of qualified prospects into signed clients. Our firm does not offer free consultations and generally does not work on contingency. You must be comfortable clearly explaining the value and cost of a paid legal consultation, requesting payment, addressing reasonable concerns, and asking prospective clients to take the next step. Previous legal experience is not required. We welcome successful candidates from a wide range of customer-facing sales backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to inbound calls, emails, and other inquiries from prospective clients
  • Conduct intake and sales conversations to understand each prospect’s situation, needs, urgency, and goals, and determine whether the matter may be a fit for the firm
  • Build rapport quickly, create a strong professional first impression, and guide prospects through the decision-making process
  • Clearly explain the firm’s services, paid consultation process, pricing, and next steps
  • Schedule paid consultations, assist with payment, and send related consultation materials
  • Follow up consistently by phone, email, and text before and after consultations to help qualified prospects move through the engagement process
  • Prepare and send invoices, engagement agreements, fee schedules, and related intake documents, and track outstanding payments, signatures, information, and onboarding items
  • Maintain an organized lead pipeline and accurately document all communications, status updates, and follow-up activities in the firm’s CRM
  • Coordinate with attorneys and team members regarding prospective clients, consultation outcomes, and next steps
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information professionally
