Company Overview:
The Law Office of Parag L. Amin, P.C. (“LawPLA”) is a fast-growing business litigation and employment defense firm seeking a strategic, connected, and highly proactive PR & Media Visibility Strategist to help elevate the public presence of the Firm and its Founder.
At LawPLA, we pride ourselves on fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and excellence. As a rapidly expanding firm, we are committed to delivering exceptional legal services while maintaining a supportive, inclusive environment. We believe in teamwork and continuous improvement, and we invest in the professional development of our people—because strong outcomes require strong systems and strong teammates.
Our clients hire us because business does not wait. Our AgileAffect methodology was built for that reality: we take a complete view of the client’s business and legal problem, then execute through a responsive, tech-forward operating model that adapts as the case evolves. Internally, that means faster decisioning, clear accountability, and a culture where the work moves because the team moves. If you thrive in an environment where strategy is alive, the feedback loop is short, and excellent drafting is paired with operational discipline, you will feel at home here.
Our Core Values
Our core values are Integrity, Accountability, Proactive, Dependability, Results, Value, Growth, and Service. Here, values aren’t posters or slogans. They are operating standards. They show up in how we communicate, how we make decisions, how we protect deadlines, and how we hold the line on quality for clients and for each other. If you do your best work in a culture where expectations are clear and follow-through matters, you’ll fit right in here.
Position Overview:
This is not a conventional marketing role. This is not a social media manager role. This is not a traditional advertising, PPC, billboard, or campaign-management role. We are creating an internal visibility seat for someone who knows how to get a sophisticated professional-services brand seen, heard, placed, quoted, invited, featured, amplified, and positioned in the right places.
The right person for this role will operate at the intersection of publicist, media strategist, brand ambassador, founder-platform builder, content curator, thought-leadership promoter, and hands-on execution partner. You will help identify where LawPLA and its Founder should be more visible, what should be amplified, which opportunities are worth pursuing, and how to turn legal insight, business litigation perspective, media content, and market positioning into strategic visibility.
Before you decide you have to apply because this sounds like the coolest opportunity you could possibly imagine, we invite you to watch this short video from our Founder to get a better sense of who we are, how we work, and the kind of person who tends to thrive here:
This role is about helping LawPLA become more visible without becoming generic. You will help translate the Firm’s reputation, Founder voice, legal insight, media presence, and business-development priorities into external-facing opportunities that are credible, strategic, differentiated, and unmistakably LawPLA.
The person in this seat must be able to do more than generate ideas. We need someone with the know-how, judgment, relationships, and follow-through to help secure meaningful visibility opportunities across media, podcasts, speaking engagements, professional platforms, thought-leadership channels, referral networks, business communities, and other places where LawPLA’s competitors are not already overrepresented.
INDIVIDUAL APPLICANTS ONLY. NO AGENCIES. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE FIRM DIRECTLY. FOLLOW THE APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED IN THIS JOB POSTING.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as LawPLA’s internal PR and media visibility strategist, helping the Firm and its Founder become more recognizable, credible, differentiated, and visible in the market.
- Identify media, PR, podcast, speaking, thought-leadership, professional association, award, ranking, referral-network, and other visibility opportunities that can elevate both the LawPLA brand and Parag’s platform.
- Develop and maintain a practical visibility pipeline that tracks target opportunities, pitch angles, media contacts, platform opportunities, outreach status, deadlines, follow-up, and next steps.
- Translate Parag’s voice, legal insight, business litigation perspective, market commentary, and existing media/content into clear pitch angles, talking points, promotional themes, and external-facing opportunities.
- Operate as a thoughtful internal publicist by identifying what is worth amplifying and helping place the Firm and its Founder where visibility will support reputation, credibility, and business-development goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with media contacts, podcast hosts, platform owners, professional associations, referral partners, industry groups, event organizers, and other visibility channels.
- Identify opportunities in new media and nontraditional visibility channels where LawPLA can appear before competitors saturate the space.
- Repurpose existing firm content, video, interviews, articles, commentary, case themes, and attorney insight into pitch-ready, platform-ready, and promotion-ready assets.
- Help shape and preserve a consistent LawPLA voice across public-facing materials, including media pitches, social posts, website content, thought-leadership pieces, email content, short-form video concepts, and promotional copy.
- Roll up your sleeves and execute, not merely recommend, delegate, or manage from a distance.
- Coordinate the creation and execution of visibility assets, including media blurbs, speaker bios, pitch language, podcast/show submissions, award nominations, article concepts, event submissions, thought-leadership outlines, and promotional narratives.
- Work directly with Firm leadership to capture ideas quickly, clarify intended audiences, organize messaging priorities, and move useful concepts from conversation into external-facing execution.
- Monitor the Firm’s public presence and identify where LawPLA’s visibility, positioning, messaging, and promotional activity can be strengthened.
- Establish a clear reporting rhythm so leadership understands what opportunities are being pursued, what has been submitted, what is pending, what has been secured, what is gaining traction, and what should happen next.
- Protect the Firm’s professional reputation, legal-industry sensitivities, confidentiality obligations, and brand standards while helping the Firm become more active, visible, and compelling in the market.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in public relations, media relations, brand visibility, communications, founder/executive positioning, professional-services marketing, thought leadership, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to secure or support meaningful visibility opportunities, including media placements, podcast appearances, speaking opportunities, professional features, thought-leadership placements, awards, rankings, partnerships, or other public-facing opportunities.
- Strong understanding of how to elevate an individual leader, founder, attorney, executive, or subject-matter expert as part of a broader firm or company brand.
- Existing media, PR, podcast, platform, association, event, or professional visibility instincts and relationships are strongly preferred.
- Strong ability to identify what is worth amplifying and turn legal, business, market, or leadership insight into pitchable, promotable, and credible public-facing opportunities.
- Excellent writing, editing, and messaging judgment across formats, including media pitches, talking points, social content, website copy, thought leadership, speaker submissions, promotional blurbs, and campaign content.
- Ability to preserve a distinct Founder voice rather than flattening content into generic marketing language.
- Strong professional judgment, especially around reputation, tone, confidentiality, legal-industry standards, client sensitivity, and compliance-minded visibility work.
- Ability to operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, with enough sophistication to shape the opportunity and enough discipline to move the work forward.
- Strong organizational discipline, including the ability to manage visibility pipelines, outreach lists, deadlines, submissions, follow-up, approvals, drafts, and reporting.
- Ability to take initiative without overstepping, identify opportunities without creating noise, and keep leadership informed without requiring constant direction.
- Experience in legal, professional services, consulting, financial services, executive services, media, or another reputation-sensitive industry is strongly preferred.
- Authorization to work in the United States and ability to thrive in a remote role with strong self-management, judgment, and accountability.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $85,000–$105,000 annual base salary, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
- Opportunity to earn meaningful performance-based incentive compensation based on successful visibility initiatives, campaign execution, brand-development milestones, and measurable contribution to firm marketing and business-development outcomes.
- Benefits include health coverage as well as vacation and paid time off policy to support work-life balance after probationary period of 90 days is completed.
