About the Role
This is a hands-on operations and technology support role. You will help manage and troubleshoot the firm's day-to-day technology systems, provide support to a remote team, assist with Microsoft 365 administration, help build and improve ClickUp workflows, support automation projects through tools such as Zapier, and help develop AI-based workflows, skills, and internal tools using platforms such as ChatGPT and Claude.
You will work closely with firm leadership and team members to identify operational bottlenecks, solve recurring tech issues, organize systems, improve documentation, and help ensure the firm's technology supports excellent client service and team productivity. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of IT support, systems administration, process improvement, automation, AI tools, and operations support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT and technology support for a remote law firm team.

- Help build, maintain, and improve ClickUp workspaces, task templates, dashboards, automations, views, workflows, and documentation.
- Assist with creating and maintaining standard operating procedures, internal guides, troubleshooting checklists, and training materials.
- Help connect systems and automate workflows using Zapier and similar tools.
- Support AI-based projects using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI platforms.
- Research and evaluate software tools, integrations, and technology solutions that may improve firm operations.
- Track recurring technical issues and recommend practical improvements to prevent repeat problems.
- Help maintain clean, organized, and secure internal systems, files, permissions, and documentation. Support special operations projects as assigned by firm leadership.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, operations support, technical support, or a similar role.
- Comfortable supporting a remote team and troubleshooting technology issues through email, chat, video calls, and screen sharing.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and related admin functions.
- Familiarity with DNS, domain settings, email deliverability, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and basic website/domain configuration is strongly preferred.
- Experience with ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, Zapier, or similar project management and automation tools.
- Experience building AI tools, prompts, custom GPTs, AI agents, or workflows using ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to research, test, document, and implement practical solutions.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects, support requests, and priorities.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical team members.
- Professional, dependable, proactive, accountable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Prior experience supporting a law firm, professional services firm, or remote team is a plus, but not required.
Who You Are
You may be a strong fit for this role if you are:
- the person people naturally go to when they need help figuring out a tech issue;
- comfortable working independently and researching solutions when you do not immediately know the answer;
- patient, professional, and service-oriented when helping team members troubleshoot problems;
- interested in using AI, automation, and better systems to make work easier and more efficient;
- detail-oriented enough to document processes clearly and maintain organized systems;
- proactive about identifying problems before they become bigger issues;
- comfortable switching between support tickets, system improvements, workflow buildouts, and special projects;
- dependable, accountable, and committed to helping the team operate at a high level.
Compensation:
$24–$30 per hour, depending on experience
How to Apply:
To be considered, applicants must submit:
- A resume
- A short introductory video answering:
- Why are you the best person for this job?
- Describe 2–3 specific projects you have personally completed using tools such as Zapier, ClickUp, Microsoft 365, AI platforms, or similar systems.
- For each example, please explain what you built, what problem it solved, your specific role in building it, and the measurable or practical result.
- Which of the firm’s Core Values resonates with you most, and why?
We are looking for candidates who have already built and implemented practical systems, automations, workflows, or documentation — not someone who would need to learn these tools from scratch on the job.
